Regions of Russia: Museum-reserve “The Kazan Kremlin” launches conference on art during the Great Patriotic War

On April, 27–28 the museum-reserve “The Kazan Kremlin” will launch 3rd Kremlin readings, timed to celebration of 65th Victory anniversary in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945.

The All-Russian theoretical and practical conference entitled “Theme of war in art” will open on April, 27 within the framework of readings.

The conference will attract fellows of research institutes, specialists from museums, educational institutions, representatives of creative teams, and public associations. Participants of the conference are going to discuss a wide range of issues, related to the history of art during the years of the Great Patriotic War, the theme of war in art, visual and monumental arts, theatre and music, literature, and cinematography.

Participants will have a chance to watch new documentaries shot by filmmakers of Tatarstan, dedicated to heroic feat of people of Tatarstan within the years of the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945.
