A final stage of the contest for the best command of Russian language kicked off in the Chinese capital. The event, which was organized by International Radio of China and Beijing Pedagogical University attracted dozens of students from several universities from all across China, however only 21 future experts of Russian language and literature participated in today’s preliminary stage of the competition.

Chinese students Chzhan Wenzi, the student of the university-host, and Wan Syao, student of the competitive Peking University, have demonstrated their perfect command of the Russian language and shared the first place of the contest. One may claim that the first participant was encouraged by her “alma mater”. However according to the jury, representatives of other universities of Beijing, which are now giving a start in life to young people of China, who would like to connect their future life with Russia, were brilliant as well.
