Regions of Russia: Recollections of Altai writers-veterans now on CD

The CD with recollections of writers who participated in the Great Patriotic War, has come out in Altai krai. It contains records, which have survived in the holdings of the State Museum of History of Altai Literature, Art, and Culture and the State Television and the Radio Broadcasting Company “Altai”.

In particular, the CD includes recollections of the Hero of Soviet Union Mikhail Borisov, Georgy Yegorov, Boris Kaurov. It also contains war stories by Lev Kvin, Nikolai Pavlov, Vitaly Shevchenko and Mark Yudalevich.

Presentation of the CD called “What doesn’t sink into oblivion with years. Writers-veterans of Altai krai about the Great Patriotic War” will be launched on April, 27 at the State Museum of History of Altai Literature, Art, and Culture. It will bring together the staff of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Altai”, Altai writers, relatives of writers-veterans, who passed away, and pupils. Exposition of books, which shed light on the events of the Great Patriotic War from the museum’s holdings, will be also mounted within the framework of the presentation.

The CD will be presented to writers-veterans, and also donated to the leading libraries of Altai krai.
