Internet resources: YouTube launch Soviet films about Great Patriotic War

YouTube jointly with “Mosfilm concern” has launched a channel, which provides access to the film studio’s collection of best films about the Great Patriotic War.

"Great Patriotic War – is one of those historical events, which can’t be erased from the memory with time. It is preserved and is passed on in the first-hand stories, letters, newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and radio broadcasts. But it is due to cinematography that contemporary generation have a chance to plunge into the atmosphere of that hard time and perceive feelings and see the way of life of those, who fought for their Fatherland", -  Google’s message reads.

On the youtube.ru/prazdnikpobedi channel the film studio “Mosfilm” has released famous films. Among them are: “Liberation” – 5 series of the film epic; "The Cranes are flying”; “Ballad of a Soldier”; “They fought for their Fatherland”; “Fate”; “The Ascent”; “Come and see”; “Alive and dead”; “Star”; “At 6 p.m. after war”; “A Troubled Homestead”.

Films will be available on the channel by May, 15 2010.
