Regions of Russia: Project “Extensive reading” launched in Yugra to mark the Victory anniversary

The project entitled “Extensive reading on the 60th parallel” in honor of the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is going to open at the State Library of Yugra.

Within the framework of the project works of the writer-veteran Grigory Baklanov have been published. These are the story “Forever nineteen years old” and the novel “July of 41”. The book will be available to every visitor, and will be donated to school and academic libraries.

According to the organizers, the aim of the “Extensive reading” was to attract the general public to understanding of lessons of war. The multifaceted program of the project included contests and exhibitions, meetings with veterans and writers.
