Information technologies: New opportunities for documents scanning

New Image Taiwan company developers suggest to digitize the documents using DocExpress equipment. The gadget will treat any documentation as if it had been scanned but actually it will just make a photo of it.

The equipment, which looks like a desk lamp, will be most of the use for those who scan not ordinary leafs of A4 format but much bigger documentation which cannot be treated by a standard scanner. The DocExpress series of equipment is able to scan the documents of A3 format and make of them electronic images of 3, 3.6 and 5 megapixels.

Besides the equipment is able not just make photos but also video of high resolution, up to 2240 x 1600. The gadget connects the computer via USB 2.0 and feeds from it. The software, supplemented to the equipment, provides a possibility to work with the digitized original, edit it and convert to PDF format.

By the way, the device will also allow you to make a presentation of any project for a large audience. The camera-scanner has a feature of projecting the scanned documents on the screen fulfilling thus the function of a small projector. The most expensive version of DocExpress will cost about $ 100 dollars.
