Regions of Russia: Book about Nikolai Pinegin, explorer of the North, comes out in Yelabuga

The Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve has unveiled its new book entitled “Nikolai Pinegin: enchanted with the North”. It came out with a financial support of the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of Russia within the framework of the federal program “Culture of Russia”. Its writer is Andrei Ivanov, regional ethnographer, head of the information center, Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve.

Nikolai Pinegin was born in Yelabuga in 1883. He was a gifted artist, writer, explorer. His courage and dedication were displayed during exploration of the North.
