Regions of Russia: «Interra-2010» Forum will present Chinese and French culture in Novosibirsk

House of China and House of France will be open at the upcoming International Youth Innovation Forum «Interra-2010", which will take place in Novosibirsk from 22 to 25 September.
The Houses of the Forum will be organized in the framework of the declared the Year of the Chinese language in Russia and the Year of France in Russia.

The leading universities of Novosibirsk region, which have close contacts with their Chinese counterparts, representatives of Novosibirsk high sports center, "ARKHAT" Wushu Center, the Siberian Association of Aikido and other community and sport organizations will participate in the work of the House of China. Events will be held with the support of the Novosibirsk Society of Russian-Chinese Friendship Association and the Embassy of China in Russia. The House of China activities will be held in the Siberian Railway State University.

The House of France will operate with the support of the French Embassy in Russia, the Novosibirsk region authorities, Novosibirsk educational institutions and the French cultural and information center "Alliance Francaise-Novosibirsk". The guests will have an opportunity to participate in activities aimed at promoting French culture and language. These include a gala concert with stars of the old theater Comedie Francaise, the exhibition of drawings and photographs of France, open French language lessons in an entertaining form, the presentation of the “French companies’ room".

Free of charge cinema halls demonstrating the best works of the French cinema will be open for visitors. The House of France activities will be held in the Actor’s House.
