The Yekaterinburg diocese is preparing a unique porcelain iconostasis to present it to the Russian Monastery of Saint Pantaleon (Panteleimon) on the Mount Athos in Greece. It will be produced following a special project, the measurements being taken right in the monastery on the Mount Athos. The iconostasis will be richly decorated with columns and cut out framings for icons.

Creation of the iconostasis has become possible thanks to donations of Ural believers. The Saint Mount Athos is a peninsula in the eastern Greece, which is a mountain reaching over 2 000 m above the sea level. It is one of the main holy places for orthodox believers of the whole world, it is revered as the Garden of the Virgin and is included into the UNESCO World Heritage List.
