Regions of Russia: 15th Saint Trifon educational readings mounted in Kirov

Fifteenth Saint Trifon educational readings, which will bring into focus the results and prospects of cooperation between the church, state and society in spiritual revival of Vyatka land are being held on October 20 - 28 2010 in Kirov.

The readings were opened by the seminar intended for librarians, whereas in the exhibition center “Vyatka EXPO” was launched the exhibition-fair “Orthodox Vyatka - 2010”.

The central event of educational readings will be a plenary session which is to take place on October 22. On the same day the Vyatka State University of Humanities will host the International scientific conference “Church in the History and Culture of Russia”.

The multifaceted program of the readings covers series of conferences, roundtable discussions, the orthodox film club presentation and other events. Saint Trifon educational readings will be brought to an end on October 28 with an adoption of a final document, which following the tradition will bring together specific proposals to all three organizers –Region’s Administration, City Administration and Vyatka diocese.
