Regions of Russia: Book “Notes of Vladimir Local-Lore Specialists” unveiled

On October 8 2010 at the Vladimir Regional House of Art Workers took place a presentation ceremony of the book entitled “Notes of Vladimir Local-Lore Specialists”.

The book provides articles which cast the light on different aspects of life and activities of the population of Vladimir krai from 16th to 20th cc., written by lecturers, graduates, students of Vladimir universities, workers of libraries and museums of oblast, and local-lore specialists. All articles are based on previously unused archival materials, and contain unique documents.

The edition has been prepared by the Vladimir Regional Public Organization “Association of Local-Lore Specialists of Vladimir Oblast” on the order of the Culture Department of the Vladimir Oblast Administration.
