International events: Book Fair opens in Frankfurt am Main

The 62th International Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) kicked off on October 5 2010 in Frankfurt am Main. It has brought together over 7 thousand exhibitors from about 100 countries, including Russia.

“Best practice – new ideas” is the motto of this prestigious book “review”, while its central theme will focus on technological changes, which are being actively introduced into the publishing industry, first and foremost, eBooks.

Frankfurt Book Fair’s organizers claim that its program will cover 2,5 thousand cultural events, attracting over a thousand authors, including 70 from Argentina, which is the guest of honor of the fair-2010. The International Book Fair in Frankfurt am Main will close on October 10.
