International events: Russian-French meeting “Innovation”

The Third Russian-French meeting focused on the subject “Innovation” and targeted at development of cooperation between territorial formations, took place in Strasbourg on November 26-27 2010.

It was attended by the Vologda delegation which included representatives of the City Administration, Vologda enterprises and organizations.

High on the agenda were methods, strategies and innovative measures, which contributed to a sustainable development of cities.

Representatives of the Vologda City Administration spoke on strategies of oblast center development as a harmonious city. It implies sustainable development and an emphasis on innovations and covers the following projects: “Vologda – comfortable territory for running business”, “Vologda – a cultural capital of the Russian North”, “Technopark”, “City of Festivals”.
