The International scientific and practical conference timed to 90th anniversary of the end of the 1918-1920 Civil War in the north-west of Russia, is being held on November 20-21 2010 in Kingisepp (Leningrad Oblast).
Apart from Russian historians, the conference has attracted historians and local lore specialists from Estonia.
The program of the conference includes a show of a documentary film entitled “In red and white. Back to the history of one campaign” by the St. Petersburg director Alexey Oliferuk, as well as dozens of reports.
On January 22 2010, 90 years ago, the General Nikolai Yudenich signed an order on disbandment of the North-Western White army, what in fact meant the end of the fratricidal war in the north-west of Russia.
