Peoples of Russia: Days of Culture of Finno-Ugric peoples kick off in Tyumen oblast

Festive events on the occasion of the Days of Culture of Finno-Ugric peoples were launched in Tyumen Oblast on November 20 2010 in Tyumen and will span a week.

On November 22 the Institute on North Exploration Problems is holding a regional scientific and practical seminar “Cultural heritage of Finno-Ugric peoples of the Western Siberia”. Within the framework of the forum will be unveiled a photo exposition, editions and projects based on research of traditions and history of kindred Finno-Ugric peoples.

The program of the Days of Culture also covers master classes, creative workshops, show of documentary films based on legends and stories of Finno-Ugric peoples.
