St. Petersburg History: Photo exhibition “St. Petersburg – in the world, the world – in St. Petersburg” in Mariinsky Palace

On November 17 2010 at the Pompeii Gallery, Mariinsky Palace was launched the fifth photo exhibition of students and graduate students of the St. Petersburg State University (SPbGU) called “St. Petersburg – in the world, the world - in St. Petersburg”.

The exhibition, organized by SPbGU jointly with the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, is being held within the framework of the program “Tolerance”, initiated by the St. Petersburg City Administration.

As a sign of friendship strengthening between the youth from different countries of the world SPbGU students have organized an exhibition of photos in – St. Petersburg, the city, which unites them all. The St. Petersburg State University, which brings together students from 90 countries of the world, from all continents, will put on show photographs taken by the university’s students and graduate students on the following topics:

- “The City over the free Neva River…”

- “Granite of knowledge”

- “Students, such students!”

- “Friendship without borders”

- “My distant home”

- “Following the traces of the 4th photo exhibition”
