International events: 14th International Conference and Exhibition “LIBCOM–2010”

The Fourteenth International Conference and Exhibition “Information Technologies, Computer Systems and Publications for Libraries” (LIBCOM–2010) is taking place in Moscow region November 15 - 19 2010.

Organizers of the conference are: the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Science and Innovations of Russia, Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research, International Association of Electronic Libraries and New Information Technologies Users and Developers, International Library, Information and Analytical Center.

LIBCOM is an innovative forum for new ideas and projects in library, information and educational fields. Its specific topics include: the state and prospects of development of new information, computer and Internet technologies in library practice, system and network integration of library and information resources, innovation in modern education technologies, legal aspects of libraries and information providers practice, digital libraries and digital information resources etc.

A special exhibition is operating within the framework of the LIBCOM Conference. The Exhibition scope includes: new computer and Internet technologies in information business and librarianship, digital information and resources; publishing houses products, library equipment and materials; education technologies and other related issues.
