Memory of Russia: Conference “Pskov land — the Land of Military Glory”

A scientific and practical conference “Pskov land — the Land of Military Glory” was launched at the Pskov State Pedagogical University on November 11-12 2010.

The program of the conference included sections “Military history of the Pskov land from ancient times to the beginning of 20th c.”, “Pskov land and its neighbors in the 20th c. military history”, “Russian Cossacks and Pskov land”, “Pskov land in its historical ties and military history of 20th c.”

Within the framework of the conference opened the exhibitions “Pskov land — the Land of Military Glory” and “Destroy as soon as possible: the Nazi genocide policy on occupied territories of the Soviet Union”, which shows photos and documents of the Great Patriotic War, which had been housed in archives of the Federal Republic of Germany and Russia, as well as in private archives.
