Regions of Russia: Tenth All-Russian School of Library Innovation opens in Belgorod

The Tenth All-Russian School of Library Innovation is taking place at the libraries of Belgorod Oblast November 8 - 18 2010.

This educational project aims to define conceptual fundamentals and specific areas of innovative policy of public libraries in modern socio-economic conditions, accumulate creative professional potential of Russian librarians, generate and implement it for library innovations.

Within the framework of the School will be launched a scientific and practical conference dedicated to 55th foundation anniversary of the Belgorod State Universal Scientific Library.

The school will generalize expertise and define prospects for development of rural libraries, which acquired the status of model.

During the work of the School will be mounted a contest for the best innovative project in the library science.
