The Ninth Exhibition-Forum “Orthodox Russia – National Unity Day”, which is being held in Moscow on November 4 - 8 2010, brings into focus the topic “Peoples-winners: together in history, together in the future” and familiarizes its visitors with the sacred icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Zhirovitskaya” from Belarus, prospects of reconstruction of the Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt, development of monastic life on Solovetsky Islands and revival of Cossacks.

“Orthodox Russia” unites formats of an exhibition and that of a forum. On the one hand, this is an exhibition, which brings together public organizations and dioceses, on the other hand – this is an intellectual forum, which highlights topical issues of the church life.

This year the main shrine, represented at the main forum’s platform in “Manezh”, is the wonder-making icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Zhirovitskaya”, which was brought from Belarus for believers in the Russian capital.
