Internet resources: Panoramas of all major cities now available on “Yandex.Maps”

“Yandex.Maps” service has added panoramas of other seven major cities.

The list includes Novosibirsk, Omsk, Ufa, Volgograd, Voronezh, Saratov and Murmansk. Thus, “Yandex.Maps” now offers access to panoramas of all 12 Russia’s cities with the population over 1 million people.

What is more, the service has launched panoramas of some oblast towns near Novosibirsk, Murmansk, Saratov and Volgograd. “Yandex.Maps” database thus now totals panoramas of 58 cities and resorts of Russia and Ukraine.

On September 2009 “Yandex.Maps” users were offered an opportunity to view panoramic photos of Moscow streets. In the analogous Google Maps service such an option was mounted with an introduction of Google Street View in late May 2007.
