Federal Protective Service of Russia provides documents for the Presidential Library

20 December 2010

Dec. 20 2010 is a professional holiday of national security workers of the Russian Federation. Presidential library’s portal now offers access to documents, provided by the Federal Protective Service.

Under a signed agreement concerning information cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Agency of Special Communications and Information of the Federal Protective Service in the North-Western Federal District the library received dozens of electronic counterparts of constitutions and statutes of Russia’s regions. Some electronic copies have been made from original documents and bear signatures of heads of RF regions.

Some documents have been already made freely available on the Presidential Library’s portal in the “Constitution – Basic Law of the Russian Federation” collection.

The Presidential Library was set up under the resolution of the President of the Russian Federation as an integrated national electronic resource of documents on history, theory and practice of the Russian statehood.
