IT and Society: Google’s Gmail now available in Russian

Google has translated its Gmail service into 44 language, including the Russian language.

Today all users of Gmail.com website may automatically use the resource in Russian and other languages. The Russian language thus should be set as a default language on the mobile phone. Earlier Gmail was available only in English.

An updated Gmail has been developed with use of HTML5 web-standard. It is also announced that changes related to Gmail browser client. Users of Gmail applications had a chance to access Russian content before.
