IT and Society: All-Russian Innovative Forum “Russia, forward!”

On December 13-14 2010 the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo” is launching the All-Russian Innovative Forum “Russia, forward!” It will feature a session of the Commission for Modernization and Technological Development of Russia’s Economy, which will be headed by the President of Russia Dmitry A. Medvedev.  It will also bring together the most active participants of the forum. They will get a chance to directly address the President and Commission members.

High on the agenda at the forum are key projects for country’s modernization and innovative development. One of them is an innovative center “Skolkovo”, which has entered minds of Russians as a symbol of modernization. Forum will give a symbolic start to the practical work of the innovative city, unveil programs of major partners of the “Skolkovo” Foundation. Within the framework of the forum will be mounted the Third All-Russian Youth Innovative Convention. It is being carried as a professional event aimed at preparation of the potential workforce, including that for “Skolkovo”. The climax of the convention will become a solemn award ceremony of the National Prize in Innovations which bears the name of V. Zvorykhin.
