Memory of Russia: Military-Historical re-enactment marks 67th anniversary of Leningrad’s complete liberation from the Siege

On January 23 2011 in the micro-district Perevoz, Nikolskoye municipal settlement (Leningrad Oblast, Tosno District) following a tradition was held a military-historical re-enactment, dedicated to 67th complete liberation of Leningrad from the siege.  

The re-enactment brought together military and historical clubs from Leningrad Oblast, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kolomna, Petrozavodsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan, as well as from Ukraine and Belarus. Battle re-enactment use authentic samples of arms, military hardware, and uniforms of the time of war.

The re-enactment called “January 1944” has been organized by the district administration and public interregional historical and patriotic search organization “Doblest” (“Valour”).
