Society and Church: 19th International Christmas Educational Readings in Moscow

The 19th International Christmas Educational Readings are being held in January 23-26 2011 in Moscow.

On January 23 in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior was held a Divine Liturgy.

On January 24 at the State Kremlin Palace will be launched a solemn opening ceremony and a plenary meeting of the 19th International Christmas Educational Readings.

The theme of this year’s readings is “Church and state: co-working in meeting common challenges”.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will preside at the opening ceremony.
