Internet resources: “Knowledge. Understanding. Skill” web portal supports “The First in Space” action

The information portal “Knowledge. Understanding. Skill” for humanities is a resource which provides access to academic articles, materials of conferences, symposiums, roundtable discussions, discussions on topical scientific themes, information on scientific events, translations of foreign authors’ proceedings and other scientific works.

The e-edition keeps its readers up-to-date with the state and prospects of the humanities’ development, achievements and problems of higher education in Russia and worldwide, successful experience of Russian state and non-governmental institutes of higher education, current events, documents and prognosis in the sphere of organization and funding of science and education.

The portal was created with the support of Moscow University for the Humanities and the Russian Humanitarian Scientific Fund.

The portal supported an International action “The First in Space”, which is timed to the 50th anniversary of the first space flight to be celebrated on April 12 2011.

The editorial staff of the “Knowledge. Understanding. Skills” portal have released information about the action and “Regulations on a creative contest “The First in Space” both on its portal, and its partners’ resources – the website of Moscow University for the Humanities and the Russian Intellectual Club.
