In late 2010, the expatriates' community Association in Moscow announced a project "Fairytale map of Russia", which aims to intensify the development of domestic tourism.

Map will aggregate all known information about museums, estates and residences of the heroes of Russian fairy tales and folklore.

For the moment "Fairytale map of Russia" includes 17 regions, including the Kirov region, which has just become a party to the project. "Reserves of Tales" are also in Vologda, Kazan, Moscow, Kostroma and other Russian cities.

The main objective of the project "Fairytale map of Russia" is to reveal the creative potential of the regions for further development of domestic tourism in Russia. In the long term a web site will be created to contain the interactive version of the map.
