Information technology and law: Seminar on legal framework in the Internet environment

February 8, 2011 in Leningrad Regional Children Library was held a seminar on "Legal Framework of Internet environment in the library for children" as a part of the Safe Runet Week.

At the seminar for leaders of children's libraries spoke the employees of the Polytechnic University, the University of Culture and Arts, the Office of Special Communications and Information FSO of Russia, representatives of the Association of Free Software users, employees Leningrad Regional Children Library.

The seminar discussed the following topics:

- Promotion of modern mechanisms for protecting children's rights to information in the context of federal law "On protection of children from information damaging their health and development."

- Personal data of libraries: evaluation of compliance.

- Access to socially significant information in the children's library. Ethical and legal foundations.

- Open resource "Legislation of Russia" on the Internet.

- Pro security: the protection and safety of work on the web.
