Libraries of Russia: Scientific conference “Bibliophily and private collections” opens in Moscow

March 31, 2011 the Pashkov House in Moscow is launching the First International scientific conference “Bibliophily and private collections” which turns the light on private rare book collections, their owners and the history of bibliophily.

The conference will attract owners of private old book collections, librarians, museum and archive staff, researchers, university staff, publishers, representatives of public organizations, antiquarians, officials and journalists.

Collected articles based on materials of the conference will come out soon after the event.

The event has been organized by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and the Russian State Library.
