Problems of consumer protection have been discussed in the Presidential Library

April 28, 2011 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library hosted "The opportunities of inter-municipal cooperation in the field of consumer protection" conference. The event was organized by the local municipal administration of the Admiralty district.

The reports dealt with the role of state and local governments in protecting consumers' rights in St. Petersburg, the consumer protection in the provision of public utility services.

The conference was attended by representatives of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg, specialists of Admiralty district administration and Admiralty district municipality.

The Presidential Library, implementing the practice of information support of the tasks outlined by the President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the Council on Local Government Development October 5, 2010, becomes, not fort the first time, a discussion area for issues of local governing. December 10, 2010 the Presidential Library held a seminar “Improving the performance of local governments in St. Petersburg. Problems, solutions” attended by the heads of local governments.
