May 22, 2011 Intel unveiled four models of Pentium Dual-Core processors built on the latest Sandy Bridge microarchitecture.

All four models - Pentium G620, G620T, G840 and G850 feature a very similar configuration with two processing cores, 3MB of cache. Processors’ frequency ranges between 2.2GHz (G620T) and 2.9 GHz (G850). G620T model has lower power consumption - 35 Watt vs. 65 Watt of other models.

There is large number of Sandy Bridge technologies, that are disabled on Pentiums: AVX and AES instructions, HyperThreading and Turbo Boost.

Intel has also updated Core i3 and Core i5 processors, by showing three models: Dual-Core i3-2105 with 3.1 GHz frequency, Core i5-2405S and Core i5-2310 with 2.5GHz and 2.9 GHz respectively.

Unlike their predecessors such as i3-2100 и i5-2400S, i3-2105 and i5-2405S models have undated HD3000 graphics. Judging by specifications i5-2310 processor is practically identical to i5-2300, however it works with higher frequency equaling 2.9 GHz.
