IT and Society: International IT-forum kicks off in Yugra

June 7-11, 2011 Khanty-Mansiysk is launching the International IT-forum. Annual IT-forum aims to enable experience exchange in the field of modern IT, consolidate International and interregional relations in this area, and also develop the network for rendering e-govt services.

Over 15 different events will be mounted within the framework of the forum, among them is an exhibition of 21st century IT, the All-Russian Internet marathon “RIF – Yugra”, “Clean” Internet Day and a theoretical and practical conference which would address issues of human rights and freedoms in the information society and the Day of Family. The capital city of Yugra is expected to attract about 2 thousand experts and specialists working in the field of building the information society.
