History of Russia: Photo exhibition “Kulikovo Field. Symbols. Signs. Embodiment” in Novgorod Oblast

May 6, 2011 the Art Gallery of Chudovo, Novgorod Oblast opened a photo exhibition called “Kulikovo Field. Symbols. Signs. Embodiment”, which has been organized by the State Arts and Culture Museum of Novgorod Land.

This photo exposition, prepared by the staff of the State Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Field” was launched in the halls of the State Arts and Culture Museum of Novgorod Land as a part of the All-Russian project “Kulikovo Field – remote and close”, timed to 630th anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo.

In 2011 this photo exhibition will be launched for residents of Novgorod Oblast.

Within the framework of the “Kulikovo Field – remote and close” project 18 Russian museums mounted a photo exhibition of works by the photographer Roman Solopov. On the website of the State Arts and Culture Museum of Novgorod Land at http://artmus.natm.ru/, “Virtual projects” section users can access photographs taken by Roman Solopov.
