Libraries of Russia: Exhibition “2011 – Cultural Exchange Year for Italy and Russia” launched

On July 4, 2011 Vladimir Regional Scientific Library launched an exhibition “2011 - the Cultural Exchange Year for Italy and Russia”. Participants of the exhibition will have a chance to familiarize themselves with publications on history, culture and art of Italy. Exhibits will feature albums which reveal the world of Italian architecture and painting, collections of major museums, works of Italian writers from Antiquity to modern times.

A part of the exposition will include books which cast light on the life of Russia’s prominent cultural workers in Italy. A separate section is dedicated to historical and cultural relations between Italy and Vladimir Krai.

The exhibition will run till August 15.
