International events: Quiz in Belarus celebrates Russia’s National Flag Day

On August 22, 2011, on Russia’s National Flag Day, Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Republic of Belarus – Russian Center of Science and Culture in Minsk – has announced about the launch of the subject-based quiz dedicated to the National Flag Day of the Russian Federation.

The quiz welcomes for participation all those interested, regardless of the age, sex, nationality citizenship, occupation or interests.

The quiz is made up of 6 questions; answers to some of them one can find among materials, which are available in the Presidential Library’s Electronic Reading Room operating at the facility of the Russian Center of Science and Culture.

The quiz will determine 5 winners. After summing up the results the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Minsk will host a solemn award ceremony where winners will get certificates “For high level of knowledge of state symbols of the Russian Federation” and souvenirs.

The date of the award ceremony is to be announced later.
