Peoples of Russia: Ethnography Museum opened in Ulyanovsk’s library

In Ulyanovsk, at a specialized library – a branch № 17 "Commonwealth" of the "Centralized Library System" opened a mini-museum "Arts and crafts of the peoples of the Volga Simbirsk." Residents can learn about the Ulyanovsk folk art exhibits, traditional garments, jewelry, pottery and wooden products, national embroidery. In addition, for library patrons, the exhibition of the national literature is open. The museum also holds master classes on making amulet-dolls.

The mini-museum is not just a collection of beautiful, bright, colorful objects, but also the opportunity to present the diversity and cultural wealth of the peoples of the Volga Simbirsk. Everybody can take part in the replenishment of the National Museum and to contribute to the study of the history of the peoples of his native land.
