Information technology and society: Terms of development of the national software platform prototype determined

The cost and timing of the prototype development of Russia's software platform have been determined. For composing technical specifications and development of operating systems, database and repository, the Ministry of Communications allocated 27 million rubles and gives the executor no more than 30 days.

Ministry of Communications of Russia launched the first tender for the program "Information Society". It consists of 7 lots totaling 88 million rubles. One of the lots - for 27 million rubles – covers the prototyping of basic components of the national software platform as well as defining the assembly, formal acceptance, installation and operating of the software in the collection of algorithms and programs.

According to the tender documents, the envelopes with the proposals of the participants must be opened September 15, 2011. The tender’s results will be summed up on September 26.
