Exhibitions: “Marc Chagall. Bible stories.“ in Novgorod

From August 5 to September 4, 2011 the City Exhibition Center "Dialog" in Novgorod the Great will houses a unique exhibition "Marc Chagall. Bible stories."

The exhibition includes 76 sheets of one of the greatest graphic series of the great artist - illustrations for the Bible, made by use of black and white and color lithography. The Russian museum collections do not include the works by Chagall from this graphic series. The exhibition displayed in Novgorod the Great was developed by "Art-Region" company (Moscow) on the basis of several collections of German collectors.
