Museums of Russia: State Art Museum of Khanty-Mansiysk in new premises

August 4, 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk opens a new building of state-financed institution of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District "State Museum of Art."

Institution was created November 19, 2010 through the merger of the artist's gallery of G. S. Raishev and House Museum of People's Artist of USSR V. A. Igoshev. July 1, 2011 the museum property was given the art collection of Art Gallery under the Executive Board of the Generations Fund.

August 4 the main building of the new institution will house a presentation of the museum's logo, developed by members of the Union of Designers of Russia Natalia and Sergei Lozov (Khanty-Mansiysk). One of the leading designers of Ugra have been working for several months to develop a corporate identity of the museum.

The stationary exposition of the museum will feature works of Russian art - the pride of Ugra culture.
