Information technology abroad: Adobe announced a software for HTML5
Adobe company has announced its new visual editor intended for intuitive notion creation and edition of pages on the basis of HTML5. New Adobe Edge software is meant for assemblage of dynamic web-pages on the basis of HTML5 and opened web-standards linked to it.
Let us remind that traditionally Adobe supported Flash environment to work with multimedia content, but lately the company is obliged to support standardized HTML5 also, since many mobile and corporative environments are meant for working with the latter.
According to Adobe description the new software supports HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, enables to install graphics and video directly to pages. It is similar to Adobe products for electronic publishing but with orientation for web environment. The company also states that Edge product does not completely support Flash and isn’t going to do it in the nearest future.
Today the users can freely download a preview-version. The commercial version of the product is expected in 2012. The product will be available both for Windows and Mac OS X.
