International events: Murmansk International Economic Forum “Arctic for the Youth”

Third Murmansk International Economic Forum “Arctic for the Youth” is kicking off on September 30 2011 in Murmansk.

Issues of the Arctic development and exploration for years remain one of the most exciting on the world agenda. And it is obvious that their meaning will be growing in proportion to the activity of Arctic countries.

This year Arctic forum is running in an open format where anyone (individuals, public organizations, companies, government organizations, research institutions) can present his own vision of the future of the Arctic within three thematic sections: “The Future of the Arctic. Human”, “The Future of the Arctic. Habitat”, “The Future of the Arctic. Growing points”.

Special report based on the results of the Arctic Forum will be delivered to the participants of the upcoming meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation on the development of the Russian Arctic zone that will be held in October 2011.
