Internet resources: “Yandex.Maps” adds new satellite shots of Russia’s 85 cities and towns

“Yandex.Maps” has announced that the service has added new satellite shots of Russia’s 85 cities and towns and updated shots of 13.

The layer of satellite shots of Russia features improved view of Siberian and Urals Federal Districts. “Yandex.Maps” now boasts photos from the space of such major cities as Norilsk, Bratsk, and Kopeisk. New shots have been added to Central, Povolzhye and Southern Federal Districts.

The smallest towns in this set of photos are: Artyomovsk, Kedrovy and Babushkin. Their population does not exceed 5 000 people. While the largest ones are updated Tyumen and Astrakhan.
