IT and Youth: Third International Youth Innovation Forum Interra kicks off in Novosibirsk

The Third International Youth Innovation Forum Interra is running in Novosibirsk Sept. 22 – 24, 2011. This forum is one of the largest venues in Russia and the major one in Urals for elaboration and experimental implementation of proposals on the development of innovation economy and innovative society.

This year the third edition of the large-scale international event in Novosibirsk turns the spotlight on the theme “Innovative Person and Innovative State”.

Interra-2011 is an intensive educational project: participants may gain new knowledge, receive consultations of experts in order to improve the effectiveness of their projects and ideas. Meetings within the forum will be divided into four directions: “Business”, “Science”, “Education”, and “Culture”. In addition, theoretical aspects of forum’s subject matter will be discussed by leading experts, scholars and researchers in “Analytics” direction.

The program of the forum includes a meeting of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, Ministry of Education and Science of Russia will hold a number of roundtable discussions, conferences and exhibitions. There will be a meeting of the club of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, which is being set up under the Government of Russia to provide support to socially significant projects.

Interra-2011 forum has been practically oriented: in each of the directions there will be chosen the best projects to be proposed for the implementation, and documents on cooperation between business companies, project developers and authorities will be signed.
