Information technology and security: “Information Security Code” Conference in Yekaterinburg

15 September 2011 Yekaterinburg hosts a conference “Information Security Code”.

The main objective of the conference is to highlight new solution in the area of information security management.

In addition to traditional presentations by representatives of IT companies, attendees will be offered reports by regulators, as well as by the industry experts.

The event brought together top managers, executives and specialists of information technology departments, heads and specialists of information security departments.

The program of the conference includes:

- Security of cloud computing and SaaS-applications;

- Interaction security;

- Protection from internal threats;

- Last changes in legislation.

The "Security of Cloud Computing and SaaS-applications" workshop will discuss options of defense and a secured cloud model, taking into account the transition from fixed software to SaaS and outsourcing of services and infrastructure.

The second workshop "Interaction Security" will consider issues of control and monitoring of information transmitted through various channels of communication.

The next workshop, "Protection from internal threats," will discuss issues related to intentional or accidental send of confidential information to "wrong" address, loss of cards and other data carriers which can lead to leakage of sensitive information and, ultimately, to significant financial losses and even to the financial collapse of the company.

At the final session, "The development of legislation," will be discussed recent changes in legislation and the impact of these changes on the business.
