History of St. Petersburg: “Dovlatov’s Days” underway

From September 1 through September 30, 2011 in St. Petersburg are running “Dovlatov’s Days”. All events are timed to 70th anniversary of writer’s birth.

The purpose of the project is to bring Dovlatov closer to interests of the young generation. Within the whole month at different venues will run book presentations, exhibitions, films, conferences, memorial evenings, meetings of friends, tours, discussions, performances etc. Libraries, museums, publishing houses, theatres, exhibition halls and concert venues will join the program.
