Information and Society: International Conference on Interstate Scholar and Technical Data Exchange in CIS countries, underway in Moscow

October 27-28 2011 Moscow is running the International conference “CIS-2011”: “Information Society. State and Trends of Interstate Scholar and Technical Data Exchange in CIS countries”.

The following issues are expected to be discussed at the conference:

- integration processes in information area. Information society;

- CIS national information systems and their development;

- modern IT for large data  creation and storage;

- data dissemination: traditional and communication technologies;

- legal aspects of information interaction within CIS;

- training of personnel in the area of scholar and technical data.

The conference has invited specialists in IT, telecommunications, producers and consumers of information products and services, scholars and specialists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, staff members of information centers and libraries, services specializing in dissemination of information products and services.
