World Libraries: 500 Russian books donated to the National Library of Kazakhstan

On October 18th 2011 500 books by Russian authors on history, culture, science and art were donated to the National Library of Kazakhstan.  

Books come from the Russian State Library exchange stock. Staff members of the World Literature Department of the National Library of Kazakhstan say that these editions represent a great scholar and artistic value.

The action has been organized by the Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency on the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, consul of the Consulate General of Russia in Kazakhstan – Irina Pereverzeva. She stated that the event was timed to 200th anniversary of Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum.
