Presidential Library’s staff joined Theoretical and Practical Conference “Custodians of Memory: Library Projects dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” in Tula

On October 13-14 2011 the staff of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library took part in the Interregional Theoretical and Practical Conference “Custodians of Memory: Library Projects dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941 – 1945, which took place at Tula Regional Scientific Library. During the conference reports were delivered by representatives of libraries and museums of Tula and Nizhniy Novgorod Regions, the State Public Historical Library (Moscow) and Tula Regional Youth Search Center “Iskatel”. On behalf of the Presidential Library the speech was made by the chief bibliographer of the Department for Shaping and Processing of Information Resources - A. A. Sakaev, who told about “Memory of the Great Victory” electronic collection and organization forms of electronic collections of the Presidential Library on the whole.

The conference also included a review workshop based on projects implemented at libraries.
