Russian culture abroad: Order on holding Seasons of Russian language and Literature in France signed

The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order “On Holding the Season of Russian Language and Literature in the French Republic and the Season of French Language and Literature in the Russian Federation” in 2012.

The order establishes the membership of the organizing committee for these seasons with Sergei Naryshkin - the Chief of the Presidential Administration of Russia - at the head of the committee.

The organizing committee has been instructed to adopt a program of the events, ensure coordination between the work of Russian federal and regional executive bodies of the Russian Federation in holding the seasons, and cooperate with the corresponding committee of the French Republic.
